I honestly did not think I'd be sitting in my own living room at this point. I was blissfully unaware that my landlord wanted his home back that I was renting. That gave me 30 days to leave.
That also gave me the motivation to buy my own house without fear of eviction on a whim. I was unsure how to begin, but I knew that Veterans United was the company I'd like to work with because of their veterans support.
So, I started the process in Colorado - which not only did we fix my credit (thank you) but pre-approved my loan. I wanted to move to Florida, so off my file went, to Meghan.
Meghan picked up the ball and hand held me through the process. It's very intimidating, but with Meghan in the lead, my mind was put at ease.- side note- my closing was delayed by 4 days (VAs fault). I'm not complaining. If it had not been delayed, I would not have met my "new" step-sister that I never knew. It was meant to be delayed to meet a long lost sibling.
